Welcome to TaskPilot. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TaskPilot website, services, features and AI-powered goal-planning tools ("TaskPilot" or the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using TaskPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. About TaskPilot

TaskPilot is an online goal-execution and planning service designed to help users turn goals into structured plans, milestones, tasks and actionable guidance.

TaskPilot may include features such as AI-generated goal plans, task guidance, progress tracking, goal history and other productivity tools.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login credentials and for activity performed through your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

3. AI-Generated Content

TaskPilot uses artificial intelligence to generate plans, tasks, explanations, suggestions and other content.

AI-generated content may sometimes be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or inappropriate for your particular circumstances and may contain errors. TaskPilot does not guarantee that AI-generated content will achieve a particular result.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information and deciding whether it is appropriate before relying on or acting upon it.

TaskPilot is a productivity and planning tool and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety or other qualified professional advice.

4. Free and Pro Plans

TaskPilot may offer free and paid subscription plans.

The TaskPilot Free plan currently includes up to 3 AI-powered goal plans per month.

TaskPilot Pro currently includes up to 50 AI-powered goal plans per month, together with additional features made available to Pro users.

Features, usage allowances and pricing may change as TaskPilot develops. Where reasonably required, material changes affecting paid subscriptions will be communicated to affected users.

Unused monthly plan allowances do not roll over unless TaskPilot expressly states otherwise.

5. TaskPilot Pro Subscription

TaskPilot Pro is currently offered for US$7.99 per month.

TaskPilot Pro is a recurring subscription. Unless cancelled, your subscription will automatically renew according to the billing cycle displayed when you purchase it.

Applicable taxes may be added or handled as part of the checkout process.

Payments and subscription billing are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Additional terms presented by the payment provider may apply to your purchase.

6. Cancellation

You may manage or cancel your TaskPilot Pro subscription through the Manage Subscription option available within TaskPilot, where available.

Cancelling prevents future automatic renewals. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated during cancellation, you will generally retain access to the paid service until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

Deleting or ceasing to use your TaskPilot account does not necessarily cancel an active paid subscription. Paid subscriptions should be cancelled through the subscription-management process.

7. Refunds

Refund requests are handled in accordance with TaskPilot's Refund & Cancellation Policy and any rights available to you under applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use TaskPilot to:

• violate applicable laws or regulations;
• interfere with or disrupt TaskPilot, its servers, security or other users;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data;
• use automated methods to abuse or circumvent usage limits;
• reverse engineer or improperly exploit the Service where prohibited by law;
• distribute malware, fraudulent material or other unlawful content through the Service.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect TaskPilot, its users or third parties, or where these Terms have been materially violated.

9. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to TaskPilot, such as your goals, descriptions and context, subject to the rights necessary for TaskPilot and its service providers to process that content in order to operate and provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

Our handling of personal information is described further in our Privacy Policy.

10. TaskPilot Intellectual Property

TaskPilot's software, branding, interface, designs, original content and other intellectual property associated with the Service remain the property of their respective owner(s) and licensors.

Using TaskPilot does not transfer ownership of TaskPilot's software, brand or underlying technology to you.

11. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep TaskPilot available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

TaskPilot may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party services, internet failures, upgrades or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may improve, modify, add or remove features as the Service develops.

12. Third-Party Services

TaskPilot relies on third-party technology and service providers for parts of its operation, which may include payment processing, artificial intelligence, authentication, database infrastructure and hosting.

Those third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TaskPilot is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that every plan, recommendation, task, calculation or AI-generated response will be accurate or suitable for every user.

You remain responsible for decisions and actions you take based on information provided through TaskPilot.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator of TaskPilot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.

14. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to TaskPilot where an account materially violates these Terms, threatens the security or operation of the Service, is used unlawfully, or where suspension is otherwise reasonably necessary.

You may stop using TaskPilot at any time. Any active paid subscription should be separately cancelled to prevent future renewal.

15. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as TaskPilot develops. When material changes are made, the "Last updated" date will be changed and additional notice may be provided where appropriate or legally required.

Continued use of TaskPilot after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

16. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict mandatory consumer protections or other rights that apply to you under applicable law.
